Caring Homecare.

Dedicated to Providing the Best In-Home Non Medical Health Care.

Providing You with Health Care at Home.

When people receive personal care services in their home it helps them maintain their independence for as long as possible. Caring Home Care services covers a wide range of supportive activities that serve to enhance a person’s life and state of well being. I have worked in the home health field for 9 years and have a passion for “person centered care” meaning all aspects of care are geared for that specific individual whether it is assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinent care, meal prep, transferring, light housework) or finding out what brings joy to that person.

If you give a person something to look forward to everyday life becomes more rewarding. Everyone has something that makes them happy – parks – museums – churches – sporting events – pets – or working with puzzles. Keeping people active and involved in the community for as long as possible is important to their overall well being and quality of life.

Most of my experiences have been with Alzheimer's disease clients. For each person I develop a care plan tailored especially to their specific needs and life experiences. Alzheimer's disease effects everyone differently. All people have something in their lives they enjoy and that will be important to them as they progress with this disease. I have found that routine is so important early on, hygiene care tends to be the most important routine to stick to. I attend conferences and workshops every year to broaden my knowledge of how to help the Alzheimer's patient live their best life.

My 94-year-old mother adores her, and I understand all her other senior clients do too. Lisa also was a long-time neighbor and took care of my home and pets often when I was out-of-town. "I would like to recommend Lisa May as a candidate for a caregiver position. Lisa was part  of a team of caregivers that assisted me with the care of my mother. My mother required total care so Lisa assisted with transfers with a Hoyer lift, meal preparation, feeding, showers with the Hoyer, wound care, laundry and enrichment activities. She provided clear documentation of care during her shift. Lisa was always dependable and punctual and I strongly recommend her as a caregiver.
